All summer long, the Hague Sports Summer Festivals will take place, where children can enjoy sports activities free of charge. During these festivals, don’t miss the chance to hop on a bike at one of the NIBC Tour of Holland cycling activities. From BMX riding to racing on a digital track, from blending your own smoothie by pedaling to competing in head-to-head cycling challenges – there’s something for everyone! Cols de Vallis 2025 – How many times can you conquer the 25.3 km course with around 500 meters of elevation gain?

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, you can try out all kinds of sports in and around the Sportcampus Zuiderpark, get to know local sports clubs, take part in fun activities, and enjoy music and delicious food. You’ll also find several cycling activities here. For example, a massive 35-meter-long BMX track! Or try a digital course on a racing bike, pedal your own smoothie together, or compete in a bike race against your friend.

The Egberts Fietsen WVB Classic continues a successful series of cycling tours that began with its first edition in 2011, celebrating the Egberts anniversary.

Ride in the tracks of champions! On Sunday 5 October, Dordrecht will be all about cycling fun during the Tour Version Dordrecht. This tour honours the 2024 Tour de France Femmes and also serves as a prelude to the Tour of Holland.

On Sunday, 12 October, cycling club Trias opens its doors to all young people in The Hague. On this day, kids can take part in all kinds of exciting activities for free and get to know the club. The program includes mountain bike and road cycling clinics, demonstrations, chalking slogans on the course, decorating number plates, and much more.

On October 14, the official start of the Tour of Holland will sound: the Dutch Depart Opening Ceremony.

Spieren voor Spieren (Muscles for Muscles) is joining forces this year with the NIBC Tour of Holland and the VriendenLoterij. For us, this partnership is more than just a collaboration: it’s a unique opportunity to make sure children with a muscle disease don’t just watch sports, but actively take part. Because movement is not a given for these children – but it is a powerful medicine.

In The Hague, during the Dutch Mobility Summit On Tour, speakers from government, business, and knowledge institutions will present practical examples that bring the energy transition to life across the country. The sessions are designed for HR, Facility, and Fleet Managers, mobility coordinators, policymakers, and employers who are looking for directly applicable tools for policy, implementation, and scaling up.

In the run-up to the NIBC Tour of Holland, four neighborhoods in The Hague will host free Dikke Banden Races for children aged 2 to 12 years old. Kids race against peers on any bike that is not a road bike – from balance bikes to tricycles, and from mountain bikes to regular city bikes. (Fatbikes are not allowed.) Every participant receives a shirt and a medal.
