On Friday, October 17, Watersley will host a true test of strength on a hilly circuit. The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Bike Festival at the Tom Dumoulin Bike Park, where visitors can enjoy cycling activities, music, and a large screen showing the race live. At 12 a.m. opens another Bike Festival in Watersley, where visitors can enjoy cycling activities. The team presentation starts at 11:00 a.m., giving you the chance to see the riders up close before the real action begins.
At 12:00 p.m., the riders set off from the Tom Dumoulin Bike Park. After a short run-in along the Middenweg. From there, the peloton first tackles one large lap through the hilly Limburg region. Afterwards, they return to the local circuit Watersley – Windraak – Merkelbeek – Oirsbeek – Munstergeleen. This demanding lap is completed three times, giving spectators plenty of opportunities to watch the riders in action.
The circuit is known for its tough climbs, including the Beukenberg, the Wanenberg, and the uphill finish at Watersley. After the third local lap, the race concludes around 4:00 p.m., with the winner celebrated amid loud applause.
