Prologue The Hague
Start & Finish
The stage in The Hague takes place in and around the Zuiderpark. Riders will pass through the Loevesteinlaan and Vreeswijkstraat before entering the park, where the finish line is located at Sportcampus Zuiderpark. Here you can watch the riders up close and join the cycling festival.
Parking
- Along the route: parking is prohibited between 16:00 and 21:30 on the side of the road adjacent to Zuiderpark.
- Access: during closures, driving in or out of the restricted areas is not possible.
- Car parking: preferably park outside the closed-off streets or use a Park + Ride (P+R) location on the edge of the city. From there you can easily continue to Zuiderpark by public transport.
- Accessible parking: reserved spaces for disabled visitors are available at Sportcampus Zuiderpark.
Public Transport
Zuiderpark is easy to reach by tram and bus.
- From The Hague HS (Hollands Spoor):
- Bus 26 (Moerweg stop)
- Tram 9 (Zuiderpark stop)
- From The Hague Central Station:
- Tram 9 (Zuiderpark stop)
- Tram 3 (Brouwersgracht stop) + transfer to Bus 51 (Veluweplein stop)

Fanzone & First Aid
- Cycling Festival: all day at Sportcampus Zuiderpark.
- First Aid: available at the finish line and in the festival area.
Traffic measures & road closures
- Closures: parts of the Loevesteinlaan, Vreeswijkstraat and the Zuiderpark will be closed between 16:00 and 21:30.
- Race time: from 19:00 to 21:15.
Bike
Travel sustainably to Zuiderpark
Together with the Tour of Holland, Donkey Republic provides extra shared bikes at strategic locations in The Hague. You can find them, among others, at Q-Park Veerkade, Den Haag Centraal, Den Haag HS, and Den Haag Moerwijk. In addition, shared bikes are available throughout the city. This makes it easy to cycle to Zuiderpark and ensures a convenient return trip afterwards.
