NIBC Tour of Holland: First National Special Published
Amid the humming presses of De Mediavaert, the first copy of the NIBC Tour of Holland Special has rolled off the press. A celebratory moment highlighting the intersection of sport and media.
Christiaan Ruesink, Head of Sports at DPG Media, presented the inaugural copy to Nick Jue, Chief Executive Officer of NIBC, and Niels Markensteijn, initiator of the NIBC Tour of Holland.
The special marks the official launch of a new cycling event: the NIBC Tour of Holland — a multi-day race across the Netherlands, featuring a prologue and five stages in The Hague, Dordrecht, Etten-Leur, Limburg, South Drenthe, and Arnhem. The race will take place from October 14 to October 19.
Nineteen teams, comprising nearly 120 riders, will compete in what promises to be a challenging week of racing, opening in The Hague and concluding with a decisive gravel stage in Arnhem.
The special edition features in-depth stories on the power of collaboration, interviews with Roxanne Knetemann, Michael Boogerd, and Nick Jue, as well as a fresh perspective on the rich tradition of Dutch cycling.
The NIBC Tour of Holland Special will be published on Friday, October 10 in AD Grootstedelijk, and on Saturday, October 11 nationwide in Algemeen Dagblad and ADR regional titles.
